Tulip Time Festival

Save the date for this year’s Tulip Time Festival! May 1-8, 2021. Of course the number one attraction is the tulip itself – and there are literally millions to see, in our city parks, Downtown planters, Tulip Lanes, Windmill Island Gardens, Nelis’ Dutch Village, and Veldheer’s Tulip Farm. If you love a parade, Tulip Time has three – the Volksparade, Kinderparade, and Muziekparade. The Dutch Marktplaats serves up plenty of Dutch food, merchandise, and demonstrations, while the festive Kinderplaats provides kids with a park full of activities. Throughout town, you’ll have many chances to experience traditional Klompen (wooden shoe) dancing, as well as the Art & Craft Fair, Quilt Show, carnival rides, concerts, theatrical shows, fireworks, trolley tours, and so much more. To order tickets to any of the Tulip Time events, or if you’d just like to contact the Festival directly, their phone number is 800.822.2770, or order online at www.tuliptime.com. Stay in Saugatuck/Douglas close to the action yet far from the maddening crowds. For lodging, call (269) 857-1701 or go to www.saugatuck.com.

Where is the festival?
The Tulip Time Festival does not occur in a gated, single location. Over 8 days, events and activities take place in different locations, most within a 4-mile radius of Downtown Holland. Tulips can be seen for no charge in public parks and along downtown streets.

Where to get tickets:
No tickets are needed to visit Holland, explore and experience the area. Specific Tulip Time events and activities are listed below by day. Some do require tickets or registration – click on each of them to learn more and if tickets are required.
Many independent attractions that have tulips and happenings during the week have their own operating hours and ticket requirements.
