DESCRIPTION:Merry Christmas all…!!! I can’t believe the weather up there…I hope you are all staying warm. Here is the initial info on next year’s UP golf trip. I have reserved 10 rooms and tee times to accommodate 16 golfers. I will update with current info soon but at least you have the dates for planning purposes. Thx. \nGreetings\, \nLast years golf trip to the UP was a fantastic time with great weather\, golf and dining! I’m planning it again for late August. Island Resort and Casino is located in Harris\, just west of Escanaba. They have some great golf packages. I’m looking at 4 nights and 4 golf courses. The golf courses are Sage Run\, Sweetwater\, Greywalls in Marquette and Timberstone in Iron Mountain. The price for a single is $680. If you double up in a room the price is $520/ea. These prices are all inclusive meaning golf and lodging. This is a GREAT price as Greywalls alone is $180. Timberstone goes for $129. All of the courses are fantastic and play well for all skill levels. There are some great restaurants in Escanaba. Cancelations are allowed up to 48 hours before arrival. I have done this package before and I can tell you the rooms are comfortable and the golf is first class. I’m looking at the 3rd week in August…staying the nights of the 14th – 17th and golfing the 15th – 18th.\nGive it some serious thought\, it is a dream trip. I am open to taking a few passengers and car pooling.
