DESCRIPTION:Buying real estate is not like buying a pair of shoes. There is big money at stake\, major commitments made by multiple parties\, lots of moving parts\, and timelines that are so fast\, that you will not have time to delay while you get familiar with the paperwork. \nI encourage you to always be a PROACTIVE investor\, not REACTIVE. This means learning things SOONER rather than LATER\, because by the time later rolls around\, it’s often too late. \nLearning about written contracts and agreements are not the most exciting or glamorous parts of real estate investing\, but it is VITALLY necessary to KNOW what you’re signing when these documents are presented to you. \nDuring this session\, we’ll focus on AGENCY Agreements\, and other COMPENSATION Agreements. A vital part of any real estate deal. Everyone in a transaction has different roles and expectations. If those roles and expectations differ\, misunderstandings occur\, controversies arise\, and things can go south quickly. \nWe always say: “If its not in writing\, it doesn’t exist.” During this session\, we’ll explain the players\, roles\, types of Agreements\, expectations\, and more.
