DESCRIPTION:Traditionally\, when someone mentions passive real estate investing\, it is usually in reference to the “Buy and Hold” strategy of owning a Brick and Mortar property and collecting the rent without doing much in the way of additional work. While that is ONE way\, it is not the only way. There is a seemingly endless variety of opportunities to invest in real estate other than these traditional ways. There are Stocks\, Trusts\, Joint Ventures\, Notes\, Becoming the Bank\, and many\, many more. \nDuring this session\, we’ll start to explore some of these options\, and break down a few interesting Passive Investment Opportunities. \nPassive income\, or Mailbox Money is the ultimate goal of most real estate investors\, yet it can seem daunting\, and seem too far down the road for those who are new\, starting over\, or looking at diversification options. \nThe truth is\, that passive income options are available to anyone\, you can likely start (get in the game) for as little as $500\, and you too will be an active investor. \nDuring this session\, we’ll have a good discussion\, and explore the possibilities of some popular options\, what to look out for\, and teach some other creative ways to be a passive investor that you might not otherwise think about. Specifically\, we’ll discuss:\n-Crowdfunding\n-JV Opportunities\n-How to be the bank\nand others. \nWe’ll take a quick look at opportunities like Fundrise\, Realty Mogul\, Million Acres\, and maybe a couple more. \nWe’ll also cover land contracts\, including a couple horror stories. \nAs always\, it will be fast-paced\, information filled\, and designed to teach you something you didn’t know before while networking\, and connecting with other like minded investors.
