The Randolph Street Market will begin Memorial Day weekend from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday\, May 29 and Sunday\, May 30. \nThe markets will include more than 40 dealers in antiques\, furniture\, vintage fashion and accessories\, art and crafts. \nChicago’s world renowned\, one of a kind Randolph Market is taking a road trip this summer to Three Oaks Michigan! \nOur long time venue Plumbers Hall is under construction so we have decided to take our show on the road. Ninety minutes from the city your world will be transformed. Three Oaks is a quintessential small “hometown” community nestled within Harbor Country\, which is the summer home to many Chicagoans. \nCome shop our curated dealers’ treasures\, cruise the stores on Three Oaks’ main drag and even stop for a swim at Warren Dunes State Park. Check out New Buffalo Explored to help plan your excursion to Harbor Country. \nIt will be worth the trip and the start of a new tradition! \nThere will be a variety of dealers from Michigan City\, Indiana (Antique And Modern)\, Fowlerville\, Michigan (Breck Armstrong / Moss Design)\, Three Oaks\, Michigan (Lani Myron / Harbor Home and Interiors)\, as well as many more. from Los Angeles\, Nashville\, Cape Cod\, St. Louis\, Chicago and northwest Indiana. \nThe market will be located north of downtown at 16860 Three Oaks Road. Admission is $ 5 per person and children 12 and under are free. Visitors are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to guarantee entry to the event. \nOne dollar from every ticket purchased will support Fernwood Botanical Garden in Niles-Buchanan\, Michigan. SUMMARY:Screener Info Session for the Brooklyn SciFi Film Festival
DESCRIPTION:I am happy to report that we are teaming up with the Brooklyn SciFi Film Festival again to act as initial screeners for submissions to the festival! \nBook Club participants will watch as many of the 160 short and feature-length films as they can and confirm that they are\, indeed\, science fiction genre films. Then\, we will rate them on a scale of 1 to 10 across a common list of attributes. All screenings and ratings are completed online and at your own pace over the next two weeks. It’s a solid platform and easy to navigate. \nIf you’re interested in participating\, we will be hosting a Zoom chat THIS MONDAY\, July 12th @ 7pm EST with leadership from the festival to get more details on the process and get set up with access. The meeting will be about 30 minutes\, please be on time. \nPlease note that it is mandatory to attend this Zoom meeting to participate in the screener program. If you are interested but have other obligations at 7pm on Monday\, please message Jon Nutting and we’ll see what we can do. \nThis was a lot of fun last summer and promises to be even better is year.
