The Randolph Street Market will begin Memorial Day weekend from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday\, May 29 and Sunday\, May 30. \nThe markets will include more than 40 dealers in antiques\, furniture\, vintage fashion and accessories\, art and crafts. \nChicago’s world renowned\, one of a kind Randolph Market is taking a road trip this summer to Three Oaks Michigan! \nOur long time venue Plumbers Hall is under construction so we have decided to take our show on the road. Ninety minutes from the city your world will be transformed. Three Oaks is a quintessential small “hometown” community nestled within Harbor Country\, which is the summer home to many Chicagoans. \nCome shop our curated dealers’ treasures\, cruise the stores on Three Oaks’ main drag and even stop for a swim at Warren Dunes State Park. Check out New Buffalo Explored to help plan your excursion to Harbor Country. \nIt will be worth the trip and the start of a new tradition! \nThere will be a variety of dealers from Michigan City\, Indiana (Antique And Modern)\, Fowlerville\, Michigan (Breck Armstrong / Moss Design)\, Three Oaks\, Michigan (Lani Myron / Harbor Home and Interiors)\, as well as many more. from Los Angeles\, Nashville\, Cape Cod\, St. Louis\, Chicago and northwest Indiana. \nThe market will be located north of downtown at 16860 Three Oaks Road. Admission is $ 5 per person and children 12 and under are free. Visitors are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to guarantee entry to the event. \nOne dollar from every ticket purchased will support Fernwood Botanical Garden in Niles-Buchanan\, Michigan. You need to know how to manage that business PLUS a whole lot of legal restrictions and requirements unique to being a Landlord \nDuring this fast paced and information filled 90 minute session\, we’ll cover the following topics: \n–The full and proper screening or testing of an applicant’s credit\, criminal history\, rental history and ability to pay.–Lease contracting or accepting rent using legal documents approved for the area in which the property is located.–Maintenance issues\, Contractors\, Building your Power Team.–Fair Housing.There are many facets to this profession\, including managing the accounts and finances of the real estate properties\, and participating in or initiating litigation with tenants\, contractors and insurance agencies. Litigation is at times considered a separate function\, set aside for trained attorneys. Although a person will be responsible for this in his/her job description\, there may be an attorney working under a property manager. Special attention is given to landlord/tenant law and most commonly evictions\, non-payment\, harassment\, reduction of pre-arranged services\, and public nuisance are legal subjects that gain the most amount of attention from property managers.
