‘The Tomorrow War’ Advanced Virtual Screening with The Sci Fi Book Club

Hey everyone!

I’m happy to announce that we are collaborating with Amazon Studios to bring an advanced screening of the upcoming film ‘The Tomorrow War’ starring Chris Pratt, Yvonne Strahovski, and J.K. Simmons.

We’ve had our eye on this movie throughout production and are really excited to be able to get to see it before it hits theatres. The story is right up our alley here at Book Club and the effects we’ve seen while nerding out waiting for the film to come out look really cool. With a solid director (Chris McCay) and a strong cast like this, I think we’re going to be in for a treat.

In ‘The Tomorrow War’, the world is stunned when a group of time travelers arrive from thirty years in the future to deliver an urgent message about an impending alien war. Join the fight for the future with this team in their desperate quest to rewrite the fate of the past.

PS. Here are some FAQ’s that will give you more insight about the screening and the Amazon Studios platform we’ll be screening through.

· If you are RSVP’ed at the amazonscreenings link above in advance, at about 6pm you will receive your link to access the screening

· If you’d like to watch it on your TV, you’ll have to do so by connecting an HDMI cable from your computer to the TV. It is not available to stream via TV platforms yet.

· You have a roughly 15-30 minute pause limit so you can watch the movie at your own pace.

· You will be watching an individual screening especially for you. As such, the film will be watermarked with your name on it. It’s not Big Brother, it’s for protection from pirating.

· If you lose connection or need to pause the video, you may be allotted a brief amount of time to rejoin the screening. This allotment is typically 15-30 minutes.
