“Starship Troopers” – Robert Heinlein

A 50/50 split on our novel of the month for November!
We’ve had “Starship Troopers” on our list for a long time now, I think it’s time for the Bug War. This Robert Heinlein classic from 1959 is an interesting read with a lot of strong feelings. It follows a new recruit going through the toughest boot camp in the Universe—and into battle with the Terran Mobile Infantry against mankind’s most alarming enemy.
Between the perspectives on future society and Heinlein’s case for corporal punishment, I’m confident we’ll have plenty to talk about on the 21st.
