Deal Analysis is the SECOND of the FIVE FUNDAMENTAL SKILLS of a real estate investor. We encourage ALL A2REIC members to adopt a discipline called The Hurley: Analyze ONE Deal a Day. Learning, developing, and practicing that skill will put you miles ahead of the average investor. There are a multitude of ways to analyze deals, formulas, tools, etc. Trying to comprehend everything will quickly overwhelm you, and lead to the dreaded “Analysis Paralysis.”

I’m also an experienced investor. I’ve held investments individually, in JV partnerships, and I’ve been involved in investing in Michigan, Illinois, Florida, and New Mexico. I’ve been involved in House hacking, condo conversions, single family and multi unit. As a REALTOR, I’ve been involved in close to 800 transactions in Michigan and Chicago.
